Privacy Policy

Effective date: 13 July 2026  ·  Last updated: 13 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Dr. Nafia's Homoeopathic Medical Centre ("DNH Care", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the DNH Care application and related services (the "App"). It also explains the choices and rights you have regarding your information, including how to request that your data be deleted. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

Section 01Who we are

The App is operated by Dr. Nafia's Homoeopathic Medical Centre, located at Varthur Main Road, Gunjur, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. For any privacy-related questions or requests, you can reach us at dr.nafiahmc@gmail.com or +91 96637 79358.

Section 02Information we collect

Information from Facebook / Meta Login

If you choose to sign in using Facebook (Meta) Login, we receive only the information you authorise Meta to share with us. Depending on the permissions you grant, this may include your name, profile picture, email address, and your Facebook user ID. We do not receive your Facebook password, and we never ask for your Meta login credentials directly.

Information you provide to us

Information collected automatically

Section 03How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your health information for advertising.

Section 04Legal basis for processing

Where required by applicable law — including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and other data-protection laws that may apply to you — we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, to perform a service you have requested, to comply with a legal obligation, or to pursue our legitimate interests in operating the App safely. You may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 07).

Section 05How we share information

We share information only in the limited ways described below, and never sell it:

Section 06Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the App, to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, and to meet legal, accounting, or medical record-keeping requirements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. If you request deletion, we act on it as described in Section 07.

Section 07Your rights & how to request data deletion

You may, at any time and regardless of where you live, ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and withdraw any consent you have given. We do not charge any fee for a data-deletion request.

To request deletion of your data:

We will verify the request, delete or anonymise your personal data without undue delay, and instruct our service providers to do the same, except where we are required to retain certain records to comply with the law (for example, mandatory medical or financial record-keeping). Where we cannot fully delete data for such reasons, we will tell you why and delete the remainder.

If you signed in with Facebook, deleting your data with us does not delete your Facebook account; you can manage Facebook's own data through your Facebook settings.

Section 08Health information & confidentiality

Any health information you share is treated as confidential and is used only to provide and support your care. Access is limited to authorised clinicians and staff who need it for that purpose. We apply additional care to this category of sensitive data and do not use it for marketing or advertising.

Section 09How we protect your information

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse — including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular review of our practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to address any incident promptly.

Section 10Cookies & similar technologies

The App may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the App is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your device or browser settings; disabling some may affect how the App works.

Section 11Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data without verified parental or guardian consent as required by law. If you believe a child has provided us data without such consent, contact us and we will delete it.

Section 12International users & availability

This Privacy Policy, and the deletion and rights processes described above, are available to all users regardless of their country or region. The App and this page are not restricted or geo-blocked by us. If you access the App from outside India, your information may be processed in India, where our services and servers are located, and we take steps to protect it consistent with this Policy.

Section 13Third-party links & services

The App may link to third-party sites or services (including Facebook/Meta) that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those services, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

Section 14Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
